Old-Time Fiddle Music
is one of Sandy’s favorite pass times.
Sandy was an original member of the old-time band, Barnstorm, that started in the Orlando FL area in 1998 playing for contra dances and gatherings. Sandy’s fiddles were built by Bob Kogut, a well-known luthier in NC. Sandy has performed fiddle tunes across Central Florida and at Cliff Top and Fayette County, WV. Sandy’s favorite tune is Whiskey Before Breakfast. Sandy’s version of Whiskey is available for digital download at Sandy’s fiddles were built by Bob Kogut, a well-known luthier in NC.
Sandy’s Current Artwork
is primarily in watercolors. Several of her paintings have been shown in juried shows by the West Virginia Watercolor Society, Carnegie Hall (Lewisburg WV) and the WV Division of Culture and History. Sandy also worked for 10 years in collage and clay before concentrating her focus on painting. She describes her artwork saying, “I like to use bright colors and strong contrast to portray people and scenes that attract me.
